This dog is clearly very scared and he doesn’t want to go anywhere near other people. He was rejected, unloved and unwanted when they found him but the prison re-homing program is fully designed to help dogs who don’t have homes. They take the dogs to a local prison and they ask the inmates to spend time with them, training them and loving them when nobody else would. When you see the same dog from the beginning five weeks later, you can see what a massive difference it has made and this really is a lifesaver for some dogs.
They even train them to go over obstacles and other athletics and it is clear that they love doing it. This dog training program is also great for the inmates as well, because it gives them something to work with as well as showing them that there is a life outside of those four walls.
